This course provides an overview of the biochemical and neurophysiological basis and application of various therapeutic exercises. The basics of therapeutic exercise are correlated with specific conditions. This course focuses on rehabilitation techniques in the treatment of a variety of selected conditions. Specialized exercise procedures are emphasized. Pre/corequisites: Fundamental Concepts of Physical Therapy (PTA 1123), Fundamental Skills for Physical Therapist Assistants (PTA 1213), Therapeutic Modalities (PTA 1224), and Kinesiology (PTA 1314).
