  • Harrison County Players

    The Harrison County Players continue to work and explore what is needed to create relationships, both onstage on off.  Each year we also offer scholarships to incoming students who demonstrate both talent and prior academic achievement.

  • Health Care Assistant

    Weekday Classes Only

    Become a health care assistant (HCA) and Phlebotomist in only one-semester. This program is being offered at a special discounted rate.     Weekday Classes Only

    Become a health care assistant (HCA) and Phlebotomist in only one-semester. As a one (1) semester 16 credit hour course, the curriculum prepares the student for the national exam to become a Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) and a Nationally Certified Phlebotomy Technician (NCPT). Earning two distinct health-related certifications will offer a wide variety of benefits for the HCA graduate, the potential employer, and the patients or clients in acute care, long-term care, assisted living facilities, and private homes.

    Employees, their dependents, and MGCCC students have access to affordable medical care, screenings, health assessments, and more at on and off campus Medical Analysis health care clinics.

  • Health Information Technology: Billing and Coding

    The Health Information Technology (HIT) program is a 2-year technical program leading to an associate degree that prepares the individual to work as a technical specialist in Health Record Systems.This program is being offered at a special discounted rate.   • Heavy Equipment Maintenance Technology

    The Heavy Equipment Maintenance Technology Program is an instructional program that provides students with competencies required to maintain and repair a variety of industrial diesel equipment, including agricultural tractors, commercial trucks, and construction equipment.

  • High School Equivalency (HSE) Scholarships

    MGCCC awards students with tuition-only scholarships based on High School Equivalency test scores. In order to qualify for these awards, students must have taken the HSE test within the past three years and first-time college attendance of the student.

  • Honors College

    To be eligible for an Honors Scholarship, a student must apply and enroll in the MGCCC Honors College. Students must complete a minimum of 15 credit hours each semester, including seven hours of honors credit courses and an honors forum.

  • Hotel & Restaurant Management

    Receive specialized occupational instruction in all phases of hotel and restaurant management for a career as a manager or supervisor in the hospitality industry.

  • Human Sciences & Education

    The School of Human Sciences and Education exposes students to historical, sociological, and psychological perspectives of human history, as well as classes offered in geography, philosophy, religion, life learning and study skills. Students in the School of Human Sciences & Education participate in classroom and experiential learning with the ultimate goal of making a difference in people’s lives. The School also strives to empower students to improve their communities through an array of educational approaches. With both university transfer courses in the social sciences and technical programs in Human Services and Early Childhood Education Technology, the School of Human Sciences and Education prepares students to advance and improve the human experience.

  • Human Services

    Students with training in Human Services are able to enter the workforce with positions in mental health, social services, and educational settings.
