  • Satisfactory Academic Progress

    Federal regulations require that all students make Satisfactory Academic Progress (SAP) in a program of study to maintain eligibility for financial aid. MGCCC has established minimum SAP standards that recipients must make toward completion of a diploma or degree program.

  • Schools

    MGCCC Schools offer a variety of academic and career programs. Whether your goal is to enter the workforce or continue your education at a university, with 8 schools and hundreds of career-technical and academic programs, MGCCC has the option for you.

  • Science & Kinesiology

    The School of Science and Kinesiology immerses students in the study of biology, chemistry, and physics through engaging and innovative activities, lectures, and labs. This School prepares students for advanced scientific study in a variety of fields, including medicine, dentistry, nursing, physical therapy, as well as many of the programs offered through the School of Nursing and Health Professions. The School is dedicated to preparing students for acceptance into and completion of programs in their chosen professions and to inspiring them to become lifelong learners, critical thinkers, community providers, and scientists. Faculty in the School understand the importance of encouraging exploration, curiosity, and innovation while preparing students for careers that develop scientific solutions for a better world.

  • Simulation and Game Design Technology

    The Simulation and Game Design Technology curriculum is a one-year program of study designed to train students to become simulation and game developers. Through a partnership with EON Reality, Inc., MGCCC students will learn to develop augmented and virtual reality content as they train in the state-of-the-art Interactive Digital Center (IDC).

  • Student Loans

    Learn the types of low-interest student loans available from the federal government. View loan limits, interest rates, and procedures to follow during school and after your graduate.

  • Student Support / Special Populations

    The Special Populations Program is a network of support established at Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College to help members of eligible population groups find direction in their lives and obtain the job skills necessary to provide financial support and develop independence for themselves.

  • Summer Camps

    Each year MGCCC offers a variety of summer camps for children and teens at our Jackson County, Harrison County and Perkinston campuses.

  • Supply Chain

    The Supply Chain Program will support workforce development and job creation in the Gulf Coast Region through the development of training programs to address supply chain needs of coastal Mississippi’s industries. MGCCC can offer these programs to eligible students at NO COST through a grant provided by the RESTORE Act.

  • Supportive Services

    Pending funding availability, WIOA offers tuition assistance to students with financial need for a number of Career and Technical Programs. In addition, supportive services and paid internships are available. Come see what is available to you through this government program!

  • Surgical Technology

    This one-year intensive program offers clinical, hands-on experience for students to become certified Surgical Technologists. After earning your certification, you’ll be ready to join a surgical team and assist physicians, anesthesiologists, and registered nurses in the operating room.
