    MGCCC provides academic scholarships for full-time, first-time to enter college students with qualifying ACT scores. The students must meet all admission requirements, and register for 15 or more credit hours.

    The Adult Education program gives individuals the opportunity to take classes that prepare them to take a High School Equivalency test and to improve their reading, writing, language and/or math skills.

  • Alumni Association

    The history of the Alumni Association is rich in tradition. For over 100 years, Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College has produced great leaders and athletes who have received local, state, and national acclaim. The MGCCC Alumni Association serves as a link between the college and its alumni, faculty, and friends.

    The Annual Scholarship Gala is the Foundation’s primary fundraiser. Gala donations go directly toward scholarships that help provide a quality education to many deserving students.

  • Apprentice Electric Lineman

    This one-semester, 600-hour program prepares students for an entry level position as an electrical power line installer or repairer.

    An apprenticeship program can help in the recruitment and development of a skilled workforce, standardize training across multiple job sites, reduce turnover costs, and increases employee retention,

  • Associate Degree Nursing (ADN) Prelicensure

    Weekday Classes Only

    Become a registered nurse (RN) with one semester of pre-requisites and four semesters of ADN course work. The curriculum allows for an ADN entrance and completion or an ADN entrance with a PN Exit completion. As an ADN/PN option program, the curriculum is designed to prepare students to become qualified registered nurses or practical nurses.

  • Athletic Scholarships

    Athletic scholarships are awarded based on a student’s individual abilities. These scholarships require students to comply with all MACJC and NJCAA policies. The awarding of athletic scholarships will be in accordance with the MACJC Handbook as approved by the community and junior college presidents.

  • Automation and Controls Technology

    Automation and Controls Technology is a program that prepares individuals to apply technical skills needed for support of the advanced manufacturing industry.

  • Automotive Technology

    The Automotive Technology program prepares students for entry-level positions in automotive repair and maintenance.
