b'Administrative Office Technology Option (Jackson County, Harrison County and Perkinston Campuses) Administrative Office Technology is an option in the Business Management Technology program. The curriculum is designed to give a broad overview of the entire office function; an opportunity to investigate the integration of systems, people, and technology; an exposure to career options available within the office involving the coordination of people, equipment, and resources as well as an opportunity to recognize the relationship between worker and supervisor; and a concentration of skills in a specific area.Software taught in this program includes the latest version of Microsoft Office Suite and QuickBooks. This program leads to an Associate of Applied Science Degree and is preparatory for employment upon graduation from MGCCC. Where a transfer to 4-year college or university is desired, a conference should be scheduled with a MGCCC advisor. All students completing a career or technical program must complete either the MS-CPAS (Mississippi Career Planning and Assessment System) or an MGCCC Board- approved Technical Skills Attainment assessment where applicable.
