b"Graphic Design Technology (Perkinston Campus) Students in Graphic Design Technology gain the interactive, research, design, and technical skills necessary to create graphic solutions for clients. Core topics include publication production, visual literacy, typography, and layout design. Through incorporation of these topics, students complete projects focused on logo design, corporate identity, packaging design, and/or interactive technologies. Graphic Designers work closely with their clients and must be strong communicators in order to achieve the client's objectives successfully. This program leads to an Associate of Applied Science Degree and is preparatory for employment upon graduation from MGCCC. Where a transfer to four-year college or university is desired, a conference should be scheduled with a MGCCC advisor. All students completing a career or technical program must complete a MGCCC Board- approved Technical Skills Attainment where applicable. Students should see an advisor for further details.
