b'3D Modeling and Design Technology (Jackson County Campus) The 3D Modeling and Design Technology program is designed to provide instruction in all phases of design technology to prepare students for positions as designers or computer-aided drafting technicians. Instruction includes computer-aided design, architectural design, civil planning, 3D modeling, and manufacturing. A combination of class work and laboratory experience is stressed. Where a transfer to four-year college or university is desired, a conference should be scheduled with a MGCCC advisor. All students completing a career or technical program must complete a MGCCC Board- approved Technical Skills Attainment where applicable. Students should see an advisor for further details. 3D Modeling and Design Technology Certificate Semester One DDT 1163 - Engineering Graphics Credit(s): 3 DDT 1213 - Construction Standards and Materials Credit(s): 3 DDT 1313 - Computer Aided Design I Credit(s): 3 DDT 1323 - Computer Aided Design II Credit(s): 3 DDT 1513 - Blueprint Reading I Credit(s): 3 Semester Two DDT 1173 - Mechanical Design I Credit(s): 3 DDT 1413 - Elementary Surveying Credit(s): 3 DDT 1613 - Architectural Design I Credit(s): 3 DDT 2563 - Introduction to Steel Shipbuilding and Blueprint Reading Credit(s): 3 DDT 2813 - Inventor 3D Model and Animation Credit(s): 3 Total Credits: 30 3D Modeling and Design Diploma Semester Three DDT 2153 - Civil Planning and Design Credit(s): 3 DDT 2213 - Structural Detailing I Credit(s): 3 DDT 2373 - 3D Modeling Credit(s): 3 DDT 2523 - Pipe Drafting Credit(s): 3 or Technical Elective Credit(s): 3 * DDT 2823 - Revit Architecture Credit(s): 3 or Technical Elective Credit(s): 3 * Total Credits: 15 77'
