b'Administrative Office Technology Option (Jackson County, Harrison County and Perkinston Campuses) Administrative Office Technology is an option in the Business Management Technology program. This program allows students to develop skills in business computer applications, office equipment usage, and general office administration. The program is designed to give a broad overview of the entire office functions. Students will have the opportunity to learn about the integration of systems, people, and technology; coordination of people, equipment, and resources; and relationship between worker and supervisor. This program prepares students for opportunities as an Executive Assistant, Administrative Assistant, Office Manager, Bookkeeper, and Secretary. This program leads to an Associate of Applied Science Degree and is preparatory for employment upon graduation from MGCCC. Where a transfer to four-year college or university is desired, a conference should be scheduled with a MGCCC advisor. All students completing a career or technical program must complete a MGCCC Board- approved Technical Skills Attainment where applicable. Students should see an advisor for further details.
