b'Hotel & Restaurant Management Gaming Concentration (Harrison County Campus) The Hotel and Restaurant Management program provides specialized occupational instruction to prepare students for careers as managers/supervisors in the hospitality industry. The gaming management courses will focus on the unique characteristics of both the gaming and hospitality industries. These courses will allow students to learn entry-level skills relating to gaming operations and provide them with the knowledge and attitudes needed to be an effective professional in the gaming industry. The gaming courses link to other programs that will lead to an Associate of Applied Science degree with a gaming concentration:Administrative Office Technology, Accounting Technology, Business Management Technology, Hotel & Restaurant Management, Business and Marketing Management, and Computer Networking Technology.This degree is designed to help students seek employment in entry level or supervisory gaming positions. For those currently employed, these programs will provide professional growth and career mobility within the gaming industry.
